Lead Piping Engineer

A lead piping engineer is required to lead a piping construction and design team as part of the layout and construction of a new waste to energy site based in Tees Valley.

Our client is a world leader in the sourcing and transfer of energy and air products and is currently undergoing the build and commissioning of 2 brand new waste to energy sites based in Middlesborough in the Tees Valley area.

As part of the pre-commissioning phase they will require a lead piping engineer to be present at the site to assist in the analysis of piping and cold box layout taking corrective action when needed.
Supervision of contractors, a focus on quality and safety and excellent communication skills for liaising directly as part of a large team including feedback meetings will be required.

Experience with P&ID, PDMS software and "Last Planner" planning tool would all be advantageous and prior experience with Cryogenics or LNG would also be preferred.
