Lead of Production Support (Linux/Webserver) - Service Management - IT/Beratung

Task:
Position:
Lead of Production Support services to live installations of the mobiliser product suite

mobiliser is a Java-based transaction platform and business application to enable financial transactions, such as money
transfers, international remittance, prepaid top-up, airtimetransfer, merchant payment and bill payment, over mobile and other channels

Responsibilities:
- Operation and maintenance of production systems on the infrastructure level (operating system, Java container, database, connectivity to external systems)
- Troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Deployment of application releases
- Capacity planning and system tuning
- Implementation of monitoring scenarios

Requirements (Must have):
- Lead of Production Support - Service Management
- Unix / Linux Skills (Solaris, RedHat)
- Profound knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 10g /11g and cluster technologies (Oracle RAC, Sun Cluster)
- Good knowledge of Apache Web Server and Tomcat Application Server, or similar Java container
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, load balancing, network security, IPSec
- Knowledge of configuration management best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Self-starter attitude, pro-activeness, initiative and drive
- Analytical thinking and structured working approach
- Team player
- Fluency in English is a must!!!
- Willingness to perform on-call duties
