Lead Mortgages Internal Auditor

Our client, a global mortgages Lender is looking to bring on board a Lead internal Auditor who has the ability to lead and deliver end to end audit assignments, this will be the equivalent role to an 'Engagement Lead' level within the bank. The right person must have a strong understanding of the mortgages sector and FCA regulations with focus on conduct risk, preferably with prior experience of auditing collections, recoveries & repossessions processes.

An ideal candidate will have over 5 years experience in this field and have the ability to positively engage with Senior Stakeholder (in this case it will be the CEO and direct reports). A strong knowledge of the mortgage industry particularly the UK regulatory requirements as well as FCA is a must as they need someone who is able to hit the ground running and perform in a leadership and 'hands on' capacity.
