Lead Java Developer/Application Architect - 6 months + Amsterdam

A Lead Java Developer/Application Architect is required for a minimum of 6 months in Amsterdam.

The ideal Lead Java Developer/Application Architect will be required for the following;

Project is for a minimum period of 6 months.
As Lead Software Engineer you will focus on developing and maturing their technology and capabilities in one or more technical areas. Currently they are working on several new products. Your role includes coaching and leading this new Web team and as Application Architect. Company supports innovation & new technologies, structured process driven company with Agile Scrum environment.

Primary Responsibilities

-As Application Architect looking into designs for good scalability & capability of the system for good performance.
-Design and implement cutting-edge, fast-paced web application system
-Continuous build: implement or introduce new tools for this project
-As Technical lead you will guide/steer a team of 5 mid-level Java Developers
-Along with your team, design, code and test full-stack Java-based web application software
-Review and implement new functionalities, write new specifications
-Able to use OO principles to ensure that developed code is maintainable, efficient, reliable, understandable, secure and fault tolerant.
-Liaise with management, project managers and other senior/architects

Requirements

-Senior or Expert in Java EE (Java 7/8, REST, Spring Framework and Hibernate etc.)
-Experience with high traffic, high load performance, continuous integration and cloud deployment.
-Knowledge of and experience working with software design patterns
-Preferably some experience in cloud deployment and services (AWS)
-Experience in implementing key management systems and standards is highly desirable
