IHRE AUFGABEN:

-you will lead the Database Activity Monitoring (dbDAM) team and have responsibility for the smooth operation of dbDAM services
-Responsibility for dbDAM lifecycle management – from tactical activities to strategic planning
-Strategic planning of Database Activity Monitoring activities – in close collaboration with stakeholders and CIOs
-Identifying and managing specialist and/or technical projects aimed at maintaining the required service levels
-Professional management of software licences, infrastructures and agreements with service providers
-Application support in accordance with relevant agreements
-Responsibility for the functional and technical design, solution architecture, implementation and operation of end-to-end Database Activity Monitoring services
-Ensuring the smooth and successful transition of CTB activities to the go-live stage
-Definition, implementation, review and ongoing development of database monitoring controls, in addition to ensuring compliance with defined processes and policies
-Evaluation of new monitoring technologies, structured line management, and guidance and development of your team

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Solid degree from a recognised university in the field of Computer Science/IT Security or comparable and verifiable professional experience in the field
-The role requires excellent analytical skills, a meticulous working style and a high level of enthusiasm for sharing your expertise in the form of best-practice examples
-It is also important that you have already gained experience in working across multiple locations and in virtual teams and matrix structures
-Desirable relevant security certifications (GCIH, GCIA, ECIH, CEH, OCSP, OSZE, GCFA, CSIH, CISSP) and/or technical certifications (CCNP, MCSE)
-Proven track record in the information security field - in a technical or operational role
-Demonstrable experience in project management, line management and in leading a team
-Familiarity with the following security issues: risk assessments, interpretation and implementation of legal and regulatory requirements, identification of risk scenarios and potential vulnerabilities, security policies, the threat landscape and tactics used by hackers
-Expertise in devising key operating procedures, service descriptions and best-practice models
-Fluency in written and spoken German and English
