Looking for a Lead Information Architect to join IT Consultancy Company in Dublin!
We are looking for a Lead Information Architect to lead a team of information and data architects, providing leadership and direction across all the key areas of architecture including design, development, integration, and governance.
You will be an Architect Leader in an employee driven Company in Dublin, Ireland, that put you at the center of their value, whose main interests are trust and transparency. A big company that achieved extraordinary results in terms of Profit, Revenue and Market Capitalization.
As a Lead Architect, you will report directly to the Global Head ITTP Architecture & Engineering, within the Enterprise Architecture Function, you will be responsible to perform the necessary leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks related to the development and support of the technical IT Tools & Processes (ITTP) ecosystem across.
Your main tasks will be to consult Senior IT Leadership, IT Infrastructure Operations Management and IT Business Management to access the information needs for improving insight and understanding of IT services and IT assets, to create the information architecture for IT Operations Management understanding target audiences' needs, tasks, and goals and translating them into easily discoverable elements. You will conduct information analysis and data mining efforts to identify key trends and patterns in support of improving management of IT Operation and bring thought leadership to the strategic management, design, modelling, provisioning, governance and quality management of informational assets within the operational landscape.
You will also lead the information and data architecture team, defining architecture standards, patterns and principles and evaluating/recommending technology direction and keep up-to-date and knowledgeable about industry trends and emerging technologies, promoting a recommended direction for information and analytical systems.
What are we looking for from you?
To be the ideal candidate for this role, you will have a bachelor's degree in a computer science, engineering or information technology discipline, an advanced degree and related accreditations a plus. You will also have substantial experience leading enterprise-level information and data architecture projects and an expert level in the design, modelling and implementation of information systems, including data warehouse and data marts.
Considerable experience with various BI and/or data warehouse tools and platforms and considerable hands on programming/development experience are required.
You will have experience working across globally distributed culturally diverse, Matrix organizations and working with IT Operations tools will be a plus. You will also have experience of working with clients in a consulting role and ITIL v3 foundation or greater is a preference.
