Lead HTML5 Developer

A multinational, IT driven company, seek a senior Lead Developer (Front End). Based in their state of the art Dublin City HQ. Initial 12 month contracts, this is very likely to be extended. Excellent daily rates and contractor friendly environment. Job spec below isn't the best. It is devised based on what they think the suitable candidate's background may look like, and not on the actual roles and responsibility. Flash/Flex not used so much.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Track record in software development, with evidence of delivering multi-component, scalable applications
- Experience with methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Test Driven Development)
- Experience in FRONT END DEVELOPMENT using CSS and JAVASCRIPT including jQuery. You can code clean, semantic and very accessible code that is totally cross browser and standards compliant.
- Knowledge and skills in HTML5 and CSS3, UI + UX disciplines
- Knowledge of repositories eg SVN
- Knowledge of JSON and XML essential
- Knowledge of Flex/Flash
- Knowledge of Frontend Technologies such as category AJAX

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Knowledge of working within a Continuous Integration or Continuous Deployment environment.
- Knowledge of XML/XSLT.
- Knowledge of repositories
- Knowledge of process automation engineer eg GRUNT, YEOMAN or similar
- Knowledge of Testing/Unit eg Testing JS, Jasmine, Mocha, Handdlebars

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsibilities include directing Front End development teams, including off-shore teams.
- You will be in charge of eg: designing, documenting, supporting and implementing enterprise applications.
- Working within an "Agile" Development Environment, you will be part of a team of Software Engineers, who work with cutting edge technology. You will bring a strong technical web/mobile background. You will have the abilities to deliver Applications across numerous platforms.

Note: this is not a hands-on coding role. You will be capable of coding, with solid problem-solving skills and also have the ability to communicate with other leads.
