Lead Engineer - Black Utiliites

Black Utilities Lead Engineer/SME required for Non GMP Utilities (GMP/Non GMP buildings) to join a global biotech company located in Dublin.

The Utilities Project Manager will initially be responsible for review of all Design deliverables from JE including Drawings, Datasheets, specifications and Engineering Lists. Scope includes the review and approval of drawings and technical data regarding Non GMP Utilities
* Act as liaison with factory Mutual
* Lead on the development of Mechanical & Fire Protection packages.

Responsibilities include:
* Advising A&E and CM on client expectations for bid package contents,
* Assuring that A/E deliverables truly capture existing conditions and site particularities.
* Reviewing A&E deliverables,
* Assuring Bid Package Quality and Timely completion.
* Assisting CM during Pre-Bid Meeting. Evaluation of Construction Bids.
* Update Project Team on Bid Package Progress
* Overall Responsibility for the Mechanical Design of the Facility
* Point person for Vendor review for all Utility/Fire protection Vendor Packages
* Participate in Design Reviews.
* Act as a consultant to the Engineering firm to ensure design meets client requirements.
* Partner with Engineering firm counterparts to identify opportunities to reduce cost and schedule.
* Lead Mechanical SWAT Team in relation to punch list closure both pre-M/C and during the CQV execution phase.
* Accountable to maintain BOD design intent throughout project execution.
* Ensure Commissioning readiness of all Mechanical Systems to support Start-up
* Liaise with other disciplines to ensure alignment and coordination across disciplines
* Liaise with all Project Groups (Design/CM/CQV/Automation/Process/SMEs/Ops/Maintenance/PMs) to ensure all Utility and Fire protection Systems are managed appropriately for the entire Project Lifecycle.

Requirements:
* Minimum 10 years of experience as Utilities lead on Large Scale Projects within the Biotech Industry
* SME on GMP facilities including experience on GMP Classified areas
* Experience with liaising with other departments and building PMs/leads, ensuring streamlined utility and fire protection scheduling and planning for all buildings, including LSCC, LOC & CUB/Site Infrastructure.
* Experience with 3D Design
