Lead Engineer (Billing, Charging, Test Automation, Middleware)

JWA is seeking a Lead Engineer for a 12 month extendable contract opportunity in the USA with some limited opportunity to work on a remote basis.

The Engineer will be responsible for the design development and delivery of multi-tenant solutions to support and enable the interconnection and communication between consumer/enterprise and enterprise/enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have professional experience of all aspects of the software development life cycle and will have worked on multiple product cycles.

You will be responsible for test automation design development and execution for both service level and GUI level testing.

Collaborating with offshore teams you will develop an understanding of automation requirements for multiple environments (prepaid and postpaid) and providing support based on a defined schedule and milestones.

You will also create and maintain all testing artefacts whilst logging and tracking defects in HP Application Life Cycle Management tool.

Other responsibilities include the creation of a comprehensive test strategy (for automation) and the design and execution of stress and load testing (via LoadRunner).

Furthermore you will collaborate with developers, architects and application owners to understand performance and scalability requirements.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Test automation through HP Quality Center

Standard Test Automation methodologies and direct Scripting in Quick Test Professional (Linear/Structured Scripting)

Test Automation Frameworks (Data Driven, Table Driven, Keyword Driven, Hybrid)

Complex Target Application Environments

Strong documentation skills

Competency in one programming language and/or Scripting language

Client side Scripting technologies (AJAX, ASP.NET JAVASCRIPT JQUERY JSON)

Testing applications which heavily use web services, Pega and Tibco technologies.

Automation Tools (QTP, Mercury Win Runner, HP ALM, QC)

Knowledge of BSCS billing or Amdocs Billing Systems

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
