MY DUTIES:

- Assume ownership over a dedicated IT infrastructure supported by outsourced service providers
- Hands-on work in VMware and Windows environments in collaboration with your team and also serve as project and product manager driving the environment forward
- Technical lead: provide technical leadership for the dedicated IT infrastructure supporting the building automation systems and ensure that the evolution of the underlying technology is in line with internal requirements
- IT Service Management: Work with the providers to ensure that the service management procedures for request, incident, problem, configuration and change management are aligned wherever possible with the internal standard procedures
- Product and Project Management: Manage or participate in project activities in this dedicated IT infrastructure

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Extensive experience with Windows Server and Desktop environments 
- Extensive experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter and vSAN components
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals, particularly routing and switching
- Good understanding of information security fundamentals  
- Experience with Microsoft infrastructure applications such as SCCM advantageous
- Experience with building automation systems advantageous  
- Experience with managing, implementing and optimizing ITIL processes, in particular request, incident and problem management
- Strong problem solving, communication and team working skills
- Fluency in English (oral and written) and German (oral and written) required
