Lead Developer/Analyst (SAP and HP Loadrunner)

The main function of a Analyst/Developer is to develop, create, modify and execute automated test cases utilizing HP LoadRunner to emulate application volume and stress on system resources to validate environment integrity. Work across a broad range of technologies and hardware configurations, partnering with development teams to identify key risks and improvement opportunities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
1.) Requirement gathering for metrics to be achieved, application and user volume to be exercised
2.) Identify functional scenarios for performance testing
3.) Ensure environment contains appropriate data, including volume
4.) Create test scripts
5.) Execute test scripts
6.) Interpret results and provide feedback to application owners
7.) Engage application owner and development team for performance tuning as needed

SKILLS:

- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time as well as being a collaborative team member.
- Fully knowledgeable of related infrastructure components and/or operating environment.
- Strong knowledge of the full software development life cycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required. 3-5 years experience with HP LoadRunner.
- Experience with usage of HP LoadRunner in an SAP environment.
