The Lead Data Analyst/Reporting Analyst will conduct data analysis and prepare reports and recommendations focused on evaluating risk assessment issues, business process and reporting improvement efforts.  

CANDIDATE TECHNICAL BACKGROUND:

Computer/IT Services, Statistical Reporting

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Serve as subject matter expert and lead for ICTNH  analytics and reporting
- Develop queries, reports and dashboards for ICTNH user groups
- Support corporate and business unit management teams with complex data analysis and reporting requirements
- Perform detailed analysis of IS data in support of external/internal and regulatory reporting requirements
- Develop and deploy communication plans and training programs for users of reporting tools and dashboards

M-F 8AM - 5PM

50% Reviews, extracts and analyzes data to be used in formulation of procedures, processes and other requirements. Provides reports of relevant activity to be used to identify problematic areas and to provide basis for modification and/or elimination of operations issues. Revises existing reports and develops new reports based on changingmethodologies. Analyzes reports to ensure accuracy and quality. Tracks and verifies all reporting statistics and/or metrics.

30% Develops complex analysis and sophisticated data compilation, verification, and interpretations to guide divisional efforts. Creates data search programs to identify pertinent data needed to provide supporting documentation for system or operational enhancements/changes.

20% Communicates and/or trains employees and managers on the complex database programs used to generate analytical data. Documents reporting procedures so other staff can run ad hoc reports independently. Designs, codes, and maintains complex database programs for the extraction and analysis of data to support financial and operational decisions.

Ability to self-motivate and work effectively both independently both independently and with teams.

Ability to manage a wide range of cross-functional activities while meeting time sensitive and variable deadlines.

Strong attention to detail.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Bachelors in Stat, Comp Sci, Math, Bus/Healthcare Admin or related field OR Required      
- 2yr degree in Comp Sci, Bus, or related + extra 2 years reporting work exp OR Extra 4 years reporting and data analysis experience Required      
- Research and analysis experience Required 6 Years  
- SQL database, SQL queries experience, Required      
- Crystal Reports, DB2. Highly desired      
- Strong analytical, planning, organizational, critical thinking and innovative problem solving skills Highly desired      
- Strong facilitation, oral and written communication, including active listening skills. Highly desired      
- Advanced Excel skills, proficiency with PowerPoint, Word and other Microsoft Office applications Highly desired.
