Lead Commissioning Engineer

A Renewable Energy client is looking for a Lead Commissioning Engineer to work on an offshore wind farm project in the North East UK starting ASAP on a 6 months' contract with possible extensions. The Engineer will be a direct report to the Commissioning Manager and deputise when necessary. This is a key delivery role in driving the offshore commissioning works in a challenging project environment.

Responsibilities:

Work alongside Package Managers and key supplier representatives to commission the Offshore Platforms and WTG's, driving the work packages forward to meet the project programme.
Develop and execute commissioning switching programmes and test programmes.
Investigate and report on HV Network system events during the commissioning phase.
Deputise for the Commissioning Manager when required.
Manage all associated commissioning quality documentation compilation
Team management including the provision of very clear documentation and directions

Skills:

TP141 Commissioning Engineer accreditation preferable
Recent HV Network commissioning experience
Recent experience on commissioning offshore wind farms is essential
Proven track record in managing teams to achieve programme deliverables
Electrical Engineering degree is an advantage
