Lead C# WPF Application Developer

Prestigious Global Investment Bank is currently seeking a Lead C# WPF Application Developer. Candidate must be able to effectively lead technically, and communicate with technology and non-technology team members.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of developers through the systems development life cycle from analysis and requirements through development and implementation in a high pressure and time critical environment.
Analyze complex data analysis and workflow requirements. Must be able to consolidate information from various business groups, analyze the problem or requirement(s), and recommend an appropriate solution.
Design and write 3-tier software using Microsoft technologies: C#, SQL, WPF, WF, Winforms and WCF.
Support for existing systems.

Qualifications:

Experience managing a team of developers
A minimum of 8 years professional experience writing software using an object-oriented language and a relational persistence layer
A minimum of 3 years using C#
A minimum of 3 years experience on any of the following Relational Databases: Sybase, Oracle, SQLServer
A minimum of 1 year using WPF preferably with Prism
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with object-oriented programming and selection of appropriate design patterns
High level of competency in multi-threaded solutions
Experience as a software developer in a securities Broker-Dealer or similar environment
Strong analytical and writing skills
The ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical colleagues
A proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic business and technical environment that values positive changes
Creative thinking and the ability to conceive elegant solutions to complex problems
Ability to work with a sense of urgency, while maintaining attention to detail
Project management experience
Knowledge of ABCP, Securitization, managed CDOs, or Fixed Income
Windows Comunication Foundation and Windows Workflow Foundation

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, a related field of study, or equivalent relevant experience in information technology.
