Lead C++ Developer

As the lead C++ Developer, and individual will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of each project. Also, the lead developer will guide a team of other developers by creating project timelines and deligatiing tasks. The lead developer will also provide frequent reports to the the department's director and CIO.

The following bullets outline skills and experience necessary for the role:

* Expert level knowledge of C++ development.
* A background working in the finance or banking industry.
* Proficiency with Unix/Linux; i.e. shell scripting, process management.
* Excellent written and verbal skills.
* A background developing client-server, distributed, real-time, performance-critical, highly available, or large-scale systems.
* Experience coding for a latency sensitive trading environment would make a candidate stand out to a hiring manager.
* Strong Knowledge of financial technologies (e.g. FIX protocol) and business applications.
* Experience in developing, deploying, and managing equity trading systems.
