Position Overview:  
Our client is currently seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst to join their growing management and technology consulting practice. The Lead BSA is a key interface to client business users; is adept at defining business/system requirements; has a well-rounded IT background; and will be responsible for providing leadership to process definition and process improvement.

They are seeking individuals with previous BSA experience. To be successful in this role, this BSA must be flexible, adaptable, resourceful and creative.  This Lead BSA role will have a strong facilitation focus.

If you are not currently located in Hartford, this role requires a willingness to travel 4 days a week.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
Outstanding leadership, facilitation, and consensus building skills; Project management experience.
Professional oral and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation and negotiation/conflict resolution skills.
6-8 Years experience in IT projects; 5 Years experience in Business/Systems Analysis
Prior experience in a senior position; must exhibit the ability to direct application-specific BSAs, identify gaps and overlaps in processes, and drive outstanding requirements issues to productive resolutions.

Preferred Qualifications
Familiar with a variety of SDLC processes including Waterfall, Agile.
Experience with the payer side of the healthcare industry.
Ability to work with applications across the payer value chain (sales, pricing, underwriting, intake, claims/benefit processing and adjudication, billing, servicing and information management).
Experience, knowledge and understanding with web application development/GUI development, reporting, data movement (Batch, Web Services), reporting, data warehousing
Experience writing requirements in an Agile narrative (user stories, use cases) and maintaining regular updates from interactive sessions with internal and external customers.
Experience modelling process flows for the purpose of translation into system design.
Experience capturing user profiles for the purpose of describing attributes, permissions and functionality necessary to deliver system personas' to development team.
Experience modelling data requirements for the purpose of providing development team and user interface designer sufficient detail to build charting and reporting solutions.
