Lead Business Analyst - Institutional Banking/Lending

THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading global financial markets institution with offices in multiple global locations. They have a reputation for innovative use of cutting edge technologies. Due to new developments, in technology, and changes in regulatory and compliance, our client seeks a seasoned business analyst to scope and execute a large future-proof transformation project.

THE ROLE

This role will suit a Lead Business analyst from a markets background with strong experience and understanding in Institutional/Commercial Lending, Structured Finance Products and Loan Markets. The successful candidate will be capable of performing a highly autonomous role: scoping out the current state and needed changes to a sensitive and demanding business. During this two-year program, the candidate will define a current and interim state, begin business change, outline technology changes and implications, and oversee the eventual migration and implementation of processes and systems.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

- 10+ years as a Business Analyst in markets, investment banking, or institutional lending.
- Demonstrated Lead experience - you will be required to lead a team of junior BAs.
- Experience with large organizational transformation projects.
- Excellent Understanding of Inter Bank Lending, Structured Finance Products and Loan Markets.
- Business Process Re-engineering experience.
- Understanding of end to end delivery and the full SDLC.
- Stakeholder Engagement Experience - internal and external
- Superior Business Analysis Skills (requirements elicitation, specifications design, UML, BPMN, UAT)
- ARIS skills are a definitely plus!
