Lead Business Analyst - 6 Month Contract - Edinburgh - £400 p/d

My client is offering an attractive opportunity for Lead Business Analysts in or around the Edinburgh area. Based on a 6 month contract paying £400 p/d, the successful candidate will work with a bank as part of an insurance transformation programme.

Basic outline of duties:

- Development of data extraction, testing and production of Analytics
- Deploying a sophisticated core analytic capability to drive statistically driven insight into the business divisions
- Ensure a range of delivery channels for MI is suited to stakeholder needs
- Support for all large system change implementations impacting Operations
- Support a continual programme of efficiency within the team including: report automation, report consolidation, standardisation, MI self-service, site consolidation and cross-skilling

Essential skills:

- Previous financial services and credit risk experience
- Analytical experience, including data mining using SAS/SQL
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Ability to clearly communicate complex issues - both oral and written
- Experience of Lean or Systems Thinking is highly desirable
