ROLE - Lead Business Analyst

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

The project aims to fully identify all credit card customers on book that have been subject to a very specific set of system criteria over a period of time.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

The role will entail building a complex piece of logic that will accurately identify all accounts in question.

CORE SKILLS

This role requires the successful candidate to be able to extract raw data from our data warehouses based on complex logic to successfully identify customers who have been subject to a very specific set of criteria.  The candidate will need to have proven experience of interrogating large datasets, working efficiently and accurately, and demonstrate a high level of validation throughout. They will also need to be able to communicate the methodology used and provide robust documentation detailing the end to end process.

Key requirements:

- Has advanced knowledge of Teradata or other data mining software, specifically with SQL packages
- Has experience working in an analytical environment, preferably in the financial services industry
- Can analyse data and present conclusions concisely for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Can demonstrate an advanced level of SQL programming
- Previous experience of an analytical role within the credit card industry
- A broad understanding of the credit card industry
