Lead Android Developer

My client, an exciting start-up company is seeking a Lead Android Developer to be based in Luxembourg.

The main purpose of the role is to lead the design, development & maintenance of Android applications. You will be involved in the entire application life cycle right from concept stage through to delivery and post launch support.

This Android application is part of a wider platform and the successful candidate will take a leading role in the businesses mobile application development across all platforms having influence over the Front End strategy.

Key Skills:
*Solid experience developing mobile applications for Android
*Strong knowledge of the Android Platform, SDK and wider ecosystem
*Experience working within an Agile environment with a good understanding of Agile Methodologies
*Solid experience in XML Technologies (XML/XSLT/WSDL/SOAP)
*Experience integrating 3rd party systems into Android applications
*Experience with software version control systems
*User Interface Design Skills
*Knowledge of UML
*Fluent Spoken & Written English as well as strong communication and personal skills
*Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
*Proactive and Self-Supporting

Candidates who in addition to the above have experience of graphic UI Design, Photoshop, HTML 5, J2EE/Java ME Experience will be highly desirable.
