Lawyer for KYC/AML QA and file Reviews

OUR CLIENT REQUIRES A QUALIFIED LAWYER (SOLICITOR OR BARRISTER) WITH FINANCIAL SECTOR COMPLIANCE/FINANCIAL CRIME EXPERIENCED TO UNDERTAKE KYC/AML QUALITY ASSURANCE WORK /FILE REVIEWS.

This professional role will involve reviewing customer files, on-boarding processes, systems, ongoing updates and controls for KYC/ AML compliance quality to collect and collate data on the extent to which group policies are being followed and maintained. Where exceptions are found, these will be documented and a report, including recommendations, prepared.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- Deep and very strong experienced in drafting documents to the highest legal professional standards
- Excellent, concise, accurate written and oral communication skills
- A recognised legal professional qualification
- Strong intellect and analytical abilities and be a graduate with a good degree, ideally from a leading university
- Significant financial sector experience in compliance and/or financial crime (preferably with a global bank)
- Strong knowledge of the key characteristics of good AML/KYC  processes and systems

This City of London based contract role commences immediately for an initial 2 months (and may be extended).
