The Business Analyst will be playing a critical role in defining, analyzing and documenting front, middle and back office requirements which may include system or process enhancements for Emerging Markets (LATAM). The Business Analyst will have the responsibility of managing the delivery of internal IT teams to ensure that projects are completed on time. Hence, the successful candidate will need to have excellent communications and analytical skills, detail oriented with the ability to articulate the requirements into functional documents, ability to work with other teams within RatesIT in negotiating project delivery timelines, must be familiar with SDLC processes. The Business Analyst is expected to have a good knowledge of Rate derivative products like Swaps (Vanilla/CrossCurrency/Basis), Swaptions, FX Swaps & Inflation-Linked Swaps. Knowledge of Asset Linked Swaps, Total Return Swaps, Credit Default Swaps. & FX-linked Swaps is a plus. The Business Analyst should have experience dealing in Emerging Markets especially for LATAM countries like Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Argentina & Columbia. They should have a basic understanding of the conventions used in Brazil, synthetic currencies used for Inflation and Lunar schedules for Mexico. The Business Analyst will own the relationship with the users. This will include middle office, operations, product control, finance and PMO's. The candidate will be equally at ease discussing business and technical issues, and be able to contribute to finding solutions. Main Duties This is a 'hands on' role, requiring: * Proven track record of Business Analysis & Project Delivery capability. * Clear, complete and accurate documentation of user requirements and functional specifications * Ability to run workshops to explain and walkthrough business requirements * Definition and delivery of a test strategy including the production of comprehensive test plans and test scripts. * Ability to execute system testing. * Ability to plan and coordinate UAT activities * Problem solving and responsibility for issue resolution Person Requirements Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree or equivalent * 5+ years experience in Investment Banking in Technology (BA), Operations, Projects or Business Support role * 3+ years experience and knowledge of Interest Rate Products Preferred Qualifications: * Degree in Business, Banking, or Financial Discipline is preferred * Emerging markets experience preferred * Analytical aptitude * Clear & concise verbal and written communicate skills * Strong problem solving skills * Attention to detail * Experienced in taking responsibility for investigating, finding solutions, and closing issues * Previous experience working within IT environments or working on IT projects
