Landscape Architect/Revit Technician

Job Summary:

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Landscape architect/revit technician to join a highly prestigious architectural design firm, reputed for their sustainability principles, creative excellence and technical expertise.

Due to a growing number of exciting projects in 2015, our award winning client is looking for a talented individual to assist their team of professionals in London on an immediate start contract role.

Role:

The successful Landscape Architect/Revit technician will have the opportunity to get involved in a range of national and international projects. The client's current workload includes universities, schools, sports centres and international hotel complexes.

Within these projects you will

* Liaise with design teams to programme CAD work and resource as applicable.
* Suggest methods of drawing production to ensure optimum efficiency.
* Develop general arrangement drawings from Engineers' sketches and other design team member drawings and details, and develop sketches into co-ordinated building details.
* Create Revit families to suit project requirements
* Navisworks coordination and clash detection
* Assist other team members in the use of AutoCAD and Revit MEP

Qualifications / Experience:

The successful Landscape Architect/Revit Technician will have:

* A degree in a relevant discipline
* Chartered membership of a relevant organisation
* Excellent working knowledge of a range of software and IT packages - (AutoCAD and Revit essential)
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A well rounded portfolio of project work
