LAN/WAN System Engineer - long term Contract - Switzerland - well paid

For our internationally renowned client we are exclusively looking for an experienced LAN/WAN SYSTEM ENGINEER.

Role:
Within the existing System Engineering Team support the LAN/WAN infrastructure and environment

Tasks Cisco Works and ACS; Packeteer; Riverbed; WAN technologies (xDSL, MPLS), ASAs, Checkpoint Firewalls
- Experience in network design, support, implementation and management, including the maintenance of DNS/DHCP, voice and telex services, switching, routing and cabling (including fiber) infrastructure and the management of Cisco Works in a Cisco-centric environment and Firewall and VPN infrastructures
- Physical Cabling
- At least five year experience providing design and support for communication LAN/WAN environments
- ITIL Experience in business-focused support delivery concepts, and in incident, problem, release, change, configuration and capacity management processes
- Team Player
- Good communication skills
- Customer focused
- Methodical & well organized
- Excellent command of English both verbal and written, German highly beneficial

Beneficial:
- Degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or other professionally recognised certification in telecommunications
