LAN/WAN Engineer

Yoh has a contract to hire opportunity for a LAN/WAN ENGINEER to join our client in Montgomery, Alabama.

POSSESSION OR THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyzes local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communications media with concentrators, bridges and other devices.
- Resolves interoperability problems to obtain operations across all platforms including e-mail, file transfer, multimedia, teleconferencing and the like.
- Configures systems to user environments.
- Supports acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates Degree and two (2) years experience or high school degree and four years (4) experience.
- Candidate should be familiar with a variety of Local and Wide area networks and net work devices.
