Labs - Advanced Technical Support

POSITION SUMMARY: 

- This position will support lab testing and Mobility probe projects.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform Approval For Use (AFU) certification testing of probe hardware and software.
- Develop test plans, execute testing per test plan, document results, modify test plans to meet client needs.
- Perform impact analysis on lab infrastructure of testing activities, document same, and communicate to Mobility lab personnel.
- Testing focus areas are predominantly technical areas but may include other general mobility

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Experience with Wireline and wireless network protocols.
- Knowledge of SS7 and Sigtran
- Experience with at least one existing probe solution (eg, Tektronix, JDSU, Netscout, etc).
- Knowledge of JDSU's Access7 and CRMS systems
- Good written, oral communication and organizational skills
- Experience with test plan development, execution and technical documentation
- Vendor management experience and capabilities
- Project Management experience and capabilities
- Detail orientated
- CCIE Certification
- Cisco OSR and GSR Routers
- Internet service provider ISP
- Layer 3 network troubleshooting
- Performance testing
- Router configurations
- Bachelor Degree
