Laboratory Technician Job

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Capable of set-up and calibrating test equipment for the testing of product performance.
- Work directly with a Product Development engineer with the major responsibility of supporting the various activities to generate and test product performance vs. specifications.
- Run designed experiments using six sigma principles.
- Record results in notebook, spreadsheets and presentations, discuss observations with team.
- Follow all safety practices quality procedures and equipment SOP's., maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Wear appropriate PPE as required and receive training on all equipment before use.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS Degree in a scientific field, ie Materials Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience working in an industrial laboratory setting preferred.
- Photolithography processing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated capability to follow safe working practices and quality procedures
- Good time management and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated drive and initiative, flexibility and strong attention to detail
