LAB Test Engineer

Our client is the NORTHWEST\'S SIGNATURE SOFTWARE COMPANY seeking a LAB/TEST ENGINEER for an excellent contract opportunity. This candidate will be primarily managing automated test systems using Scripting languages (batch, PowerShell, etc.) and some manual testing.

OVERVIEW

- Oversee automated test execution system
- Ensure results are released
- Investigate/fix test automation issues
- Perform periodic manual test passes

REQUIREMENTS

- General knowledge of personal computers, applications software, and/or operating systems
- Experience setting up computer hardware, installing/upgrading software and operating systems
- Experience with the following technologies: WTT, Windows OS, Scripting (batch and PowerShell), other non-Windows operating systems (Mac OSX, iOS, Android, Linux, etc.)
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Experience setting up and administering NT domains recommended
- Self-motivation and ability to be productive without constant supervision
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with other team members a must
- Previous large scale software industry experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree, technical training certification, Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience/training desirable.

This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration.
