Lab Technician (w/m)

For our client, a global semi-conductor company focussing on Telecommunications we are looking for a Lab Technician on a freelance basis (f/m)

Project Start: asap

Project duration: 8 Months +

Location: Duisburg

Tasks:

- Soldering including SMD handling (PCB modifications, Assembly of prototypes)
- Support of PCB and assembly logistics
- PCB Design and Layout
- Dispatch/Shipment handling for home and foreign countries
- Ordering of measurement and lab equipment & inventory handling (maintenance, repair,

transfer, new equipment)

- Lab maintenance with respect to material & equipment (service and repair flow to ensure

readiness)

- Lab Certification and lab compliance handling
- Coordination of external companies, enhancing lab infrastructure
- DUT preparation and configuration Test case preparation and execution Strategic

Skills

- Education as an electronics technician required
- Work experience of at least 5 years
- MS Office skills required
- Experience in ordering electrical components, samples, lab equipment etc. required
- Knowledge about prototype board manufacturing technologies and related material

processes

- Solid background in schematics reading and understanding of related board layouts is

essential

- Sound knowledge of electrical engineering basics, further experience in specific topics

desired

- Easy use of measurement equipment like DMM and DSO required
- Good planning and organizing skills for the electrical laboratory (tools & components)

required

- Very good hands-on experience especially soldering under microscope (e.g. SMD 0201

parts)

Languages

- Written and spoken English know-how is demanded, all documentation will be in English
