Lab Technician/Quality Assurance I

Perform basic quality assurance by performing simple, standard analysis on samples. Thoroughly document results in compliance with site requirements. Entry Level position that requires an Associates Degree/Bachelors Degree or 0-2 years of equivalent experience.

SKILLS:

Performs review and approval of chemical test results for testing performed by other lab technicians. Analyses include wet chemical methods, chromatographic and spectroscopic methods, environmental monitoring and bioburden testing of water, raw material and final product. The position also coordinates lab workload and performs review and approval of test results. Experience with HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR is desired. Bachelors degree in Chemistry also preferred.
