Lab Technician Job

LAB TECHNICIAN - CORN HARVESTING needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Newark, DE.

THE BIG PICTURE:

With guidance from supervision, primary responsibility is to assist technical personnel in general laboratory operations and routine laboratory or information handling tasks in support of scientific research. Perform tasks according to accepted methods and training prescribed by the work group.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Primarily corn harvesting by hand in a corn field, but other duties include, planting/transplanting, sampling and moving pots.
- Duties include (but not limited to) initiating cultures, maintaining stock tissues, changing media for cultures, conducting transformation experiments, transferring plants from tissue culture to soil, caring for growth chamber or greenhouse plants.
- Keeping detailed records and entering data to the database system.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of three (3) years of PHARMA/BIOTECH INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE
- HOURS CAN VARY BY WEEK 20-50
