Lab Support Technician

For this contract position with a world renowned computer manufacturer, the LAB SUPPORT TECH will assist a team that provides support and performance testing for datacenter/server wired networking products.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide lab support, system administration, and infrastructure management for wired Ethernet testing and performance lab.
- 2-3 years of related work experience are required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge of Linux and Windows networking and troubleshooting
- Basic Scripting and test automation
- OS deployment environments (PXE, XCAT, WDS, etc.)
- Server platform technical troubleshooting
- Experience with datacenter switch management
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to fast changing environment
- Proven strong time management and organization skills
- Proven strong technical writing skills
- Experience with Virtualization - Windows Hyper-V and/or VMware ESX
- HPC cluster management experience
- Experience in storage (FCoE/iSCSI) infrastructure setup and troubleshooting
- Previous experience in performance collection and metrics
- Knowledge of manageability tools such as IPMI, iDRAC, iLO, IMM
