LAB/IT SYSTEMS PROJECT MANAGER
Our client, an international leading biopharmaceutical company in Dublin area, is currently looking for a Project Manager. As work stream manager you will be responsible for the 4 IT projects within the new lab. You will be responsible for 4 project managers, who are looking after a project each. The LAB-PM is responsible for ensuring reliable, robust and compliant Quality Control Laboratory IT systems delivery to meet business requirements, including integration of Chromatography systems and benchtop analytical equipment to these systems and supporting integration to other systems such as MES.

These Laboratory IT systems and Analytical Equipment are part of the overall delivery for the LSCC manufacturing building and associated infrastructure; part of a >$500MM multi-building project. The LAB-PM will work closely with the Quality Control team and corporate IT functions to deliver systems for the client.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or the Life Sciences.
- At least 5 years experience providing Lab IT systems solutions and support to manufacturing organisations in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries.
- Experienced with project delivery of highly integrated Lab IT systems. Experience with the following systems would be preferred: LIMS (Sample Manager - ThermoFisher), Environmental Monitoring (Sample Manager - Thermofisher), Chromatography (Empower - Waters), Lab Data Archival (Nugenesis - Waters), Electronic Methods Execution/Electronic Lab Notebook (SmartLab - Biovia) and Testing Standards & Methods Mgmt (AQV - Waters).
- Thorough knowledge of Pharmaceutical Industry Regulations (cGMP/cGLP, OSHA, EPA/EQB) required. Strong working knowledge of 21 CFR 11 and EU Annex 11 compliance requirements as they relate to Lab IT systems.
- Manufacturing project execution experience in biopharmaceutical facilities. Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills. Problem solver with a focus on achievement of overall project goals.
- Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.
- Experienced in vendor management and contract negotiations with lab equipment suppliers.
- Ability to anticipate, evaluate and resolve multiple, simultaneous project issues, delays and problems by utilising technical, project management, and business expertise.

The position is a temporary placement for at least 1 year with the possibility for extension thereafter. (late 2018)
