L1 Support with Unix SQL and Windows Experience

L1 SUPPORT WITH PROFOUND UNIX SQL AND WINDOWS KNOWLEDGE WANTED FOR OUR ZURICH BASED CLIENT IN THE BANKING SECTOR.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- 1+ years' working experience in the IT sector preferably within a financial organization
- Professionalism in Banking Products and Trade Lifecycle with profound background in a service orientated environment
- Expertise with Unix and Windows Server, especially handling files, searching logs and checking processes
- Competent handling of SQL querying using Oracle and Microsoft SQL, knowledge of Charles River is favorable
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken. German is a plus.

YOUR TASKS:

- Engaging in 1st Level Business and Technical Support on a variety of software applications
- Handling incidents and problems and contributing to the team's delivery to business clients and technical stakeholders
- Interacting with key stakeholders from relevant areas within application development and the business community to provide a single point of contact for IT issues
- Supervising major incidents to ensure those which may have an adverse impact are appropriately escalated and resolved
- Managing improvements across software applications including monitoring and automation as well as tracking work using given tools for incidents and changes and providing to the problem management process
