My client, a market leading financial services organisation is looking for a LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT EXPERT to join their institution on an interim basis.

RATE: £650-£700
LOCATION : CANARY WHARF
START: ASAP
DURATION: 3 MONTHS

This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual to help drive real change within a leading professional services firm.

The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing team, acting as an internal consultant across the organisation, with direct exposure to Partners and senior managers in the operational and HR communities. They may have previous consulting experience, or have demonstrated an ability to project-manage and deliver tangible benefits in a role.

Key responsibilities

The role-holder will employ their expertise to design and implement new, consistent processes within the L&D function.

This will be a client-facing role with exposure to both strategic and operational duties. You will be responsible for delivering, designing and co-coordinating technical and non-technical training needs whilst also implementing any required changes to the L&D processes and supporting the growth of the team. The key duties will include;

Oversee the delivery of employee and management training

Responsibility for the L&D Budget and Funding

We are looking for an L&D professional with a strong background in Learning and Development roles, ideally with an understanding of the financial services industry or implementing training programmes for regional site based employees. You must also have the ability to define organisational training needs in-line with company strategies.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Demonstrable experience in process improvement, ideally within the HR functio

Demonstrable experience of leading process change in L&D .

Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively at all levels of the organisation

Strong commercial, financial and analytical skills

The ability to both work independently and with large teams

Demonstrable experience of problem-solving, decision-making, sound judgement and assertiveness

Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to, or facilitate, large groups of people

Strong relationship management skills

Self starter with strong attention to detail

Demonstrable leadership qualities

Proven experience of project management

Professional qualification desirable

Management consultancy experience desirable
