L&D Consultant

Our client is a major FTSE100 player who has grown over recent years via mergerFinance and a number of other domains.

As a result of this they require a number of learning/training consultants to support the development of learning solutions - across a number of formats eg E-learning, instructor-led, blended learning. These solutions will support the changing business practices in four key areas - systems, policy and process, business specialisms and ways of working.

Specific activities and outcomes will include:

- Shape a clear LD approach and plan for functions in question ie TNA, approach development, plan development etc
- Planning and running/managing the learning team - ensuring milestones come in on team and that plans which have been developed are being adhered to
- Working with other teams within the programme to manage learning budgets; building relationships and strong communication with key stakeholder to support programme delivery and collaborative approaches where appropriate
- Managing up as required - to Director level individuals (status, issues, risks, dependencies, team development etc )

Applicants should have strong experience in the LD space - including classroom, on-the-job and thru' other methods. They should have experience of lead roles. Knowledge of the wider performance management and learning space would be useful. We are likely looking for individuals with 5 to 10 years' experience here ie senior consultant or manager level.

This programme is driving change in Back Office functions such as HR, Finance and IT. So exposure to transformation programmes in these functional areas would be very useful.

Rates of up to £550 day. London base. 5 days per week. Initial three month contract.
