Juniper SRX Firewall Security Engineer - Amsterdam

NETWORK SECURITY FIREWALL ENGINEER (JUNIPER SRX )CENTRAL AMSTERDAM

Immediate 6 WEEK EXTENDABLE INITIAL AND EXTENDABLE CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT for a Network Security Engineer with in-depth Juniper SRX skills to work for a Global IT Service Provider onsite at a corporate client in the area of Amsterdam. Environment has over 300 Firewalls. ENGLISH SPEAKING ENVIRONMENT.

To qualify you must have the following:

- Excellent knowledge and experience of JUNIPER NETWORKS SRX FIREWALLS DEPLOYMENT, RULE CHANGES, REMEDIATION AND OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
- EXCELLENT UNDERSTANDING OF ALL ASPECTS OF NETWORKING (ROUTING & SWITICHING)
- Experience with high-availability configurations, network address translation, VPNs, static and dynamic routing, basic troubleshooting
- UNDERSTAND AND PERFORM CONVERSION FROM EXISTING LAYER3/LAYER4 FIREWALL POLICIES (JUNIPER) TO NEXT-GENERATION POLICIES (PALO ALTO NETWORKS)incorporating application-id and security profiles configuration and implementation
- Self-starter and team member, experienced in working as part of a team on large security projects
- Working on project to migrate Juniper to Palo Alto.

Ideally (JNCIA or JNCIP certified)

Working on site at an international organisation where the office language is English. Excellent working environment with leading technologies.
