Junior UAT Test Analyst

THIS IS A FIXED TERM CONTRACT FOR 12 MONTHS.
POSITION SUMMARY
UAT Test analyst will work within the Global Infrastructure team and assist with developing and executing UAT test plans/scripts using the SFS Global UAT test standards and tools. Including the development of UAT Test Strategy documents for each testing engagement. Design a Test Case Matrix, and Test Scripts that insures the full coverage for feature and functionality testing. Execute scripts using test management tools (Mercury Quality Center) and perform defect tracking (metrics). The Tester will provide leadership to a remote test execution team and represent Global UAT with business partners globally.
KEY ACTIVITIES
* Assist with development and execution of Test Strategy Plans
* Acquire and evaluate all project documentation for test preparation
* Assist with coordination of testing life cycle activities: Business Scenario, Test Script development, Data Strategy, Validation Requirements, Test Execution, and Post Implementation Support.
* Design and facilitate Business Scenario Workshop
* Define detail testing coverage for all UAT Test Classes
* Execute Scripts and record results using Quality Center Tools
* Coordinate system testing windows with technology partners
* Report, analyze and escalate problems and issues within the Defect Management process using Quality Center Tools
* Provide daily and weekly progress reports
QUALIFICATIONS
* Understanding of Security and Funds Service Product Offerings
* Background and understanding of the System Development Lifecycle, with focus on Testing Methodology
* Proficient in MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Access Database and MS Project.
* Project management skills
* Excellent oral and written documentation skills
* Ability to interact with varying levels within the business/product, operations and technology teams
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* User Acceptance testing (UAT) experience preferred
* Associates or Bachelor's in computer science, engineering, information systems
* Process improvement experience preferred
* Ability to develop and document new procedures and review/approve product/ops documentation
* Ability to facilitate business scenario workshops
* Ability to provide leadership in a Matrix management environment
* Knowledge of building and management a testing strategy
* Experience and/or knowledge of Quality Center
* Ability to create testing coverage by mathematically determining permutations and spreads based on key selection criteria.
