Junior Test Analyst - 2 Posts

Two Junior Test Analysts are required by the University of Cambridge, Management Information Services Division (MISD). MISD supports administrative systems in use across the institution.  These systems include Student Records, Human Resources, Finance, University Card and Pensions.

We are looking for two Junior Test Analysts to join the team where they will help to support the current systems, primarily testing changes to our Student Records systems.

The Junior Test Analysts will produce test documentation, review and execute tests. They will investigate and report on issues and also take part in regression and maintenance testing.  The Junior Test Analysts will be expected to contribute to the planning and testing of projects and work in collaboration with project team members, always working to find defects as early in the lifecycle as possible.

Applicants will possess an excellent working knowledge of common information and communication technologies (Examples: MS Office tools, email and the internet). We are looking to recruit individuals who are positive team players with the ability to learn quickly and apply the most appropriate testing methods and tools to the projects they work on. Successful applicants will have a structured, disciplined and analytical approach to all work undertaken. 

Experience of the CamSIS Student Records System and ISTQB/ISEB certification are desirable but not essential.
