Junior System Monitoring Engineer, Tivoli, Bank, Brussels

BACKGROUND:

My client is an international bank based in Brussels.

They are seeking a Junior System Monitoring Engineer, for the team which is responsible for the design, installation and setup of the monitoring solutions. It is also in charge of the coding of the monitoring rules and works in close collaboration with all technical engineering teams. The monitoring products are mainly IBM, CA and BMC. This is a great opportunity for a junior/entry-level analyst to join a prestigious team at a top bank and benefit from hands-on training and development in the field.

TASKS:

With experience gained on-the-job, you will become responsible for the coding of monitoring rules (situations) on the bank's IBM Tivoli Monitoring platform.

Debug and code Tivoli situations (based on templates provided by the bank's customers);

Debugging of the technical infrastructure, both on the Back End and agent sides.

SKILLS:
-  Degree in computer science or equivalent through hands-on experience.
- 2 years experience in the coding of situations (monitoring rules) for IBM Tivoli Monitoring; 
- Technical knowledge and experience with at least on one of the following platforms: Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris.
