For a 1.5 MONTH project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, WE ARE LOOKING FOR TWO

(JUNIOR) SETTLEMENT SPECIALIST - OTC AND FX TEAMS (4370)

In this team you'll perform the daily settlement task in an efficient, customer-, risk- and cost-oriented way, detect sources of error and derive error- and loss-reduction measures and process improvements.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2+ YEARS BANKING OPERATIONS (BACK OFFICE) EXPERIENCE IE SETTLEMENT (BOOK, PAY, SETTLE, CONFIRM)
- KNOWHOW WITH FX SPOT, SWAPS, FORWARDS AND OTC DERIVATIVES ON FX, RATES AND EQUITY FOR INSTANCE (could also be securities) IS A BIG PLUS
- An affinity to IT/able to work a host of different programs including MS Office
- Good communication skills and pronounced service orientation
- Fluency in English (oral/written), German would be advantageous

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsibility for the day to day settlement (book, pay, settle, confirm) of a variance of products like FX spot, swaps, forwards and OTC derivatives on FX, rates and equity
- Tight collaboration and communication with trading desks, internal support areas and bank counterparties around the globe
- Detect sources of errors and derive error- and loss-reduction measures and process improvements
- Tasks as book transactions, reconcile transactions (FOBO), settle transactions, reconcile confirmations and investigate and resolve breaks
