Junior SAP BW Developer

Are you a Junior level SAP BW Developer looking to learn the BO Reporting tool? If so, we have just the position for you! Join this seven person team on a 2 month contract to permanent basis. The BO Reporting tool implementation started in April and the plan is to be completed by the end of this year. Please note that this is a pure developer role and no architecture will be involved.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Troubleshoots and corrects BW application problems by using appropriate SAP tools and implementing OSS Notes.
- Develops, implements, and supports process changes. Makes configuration changes to BW, BOBJ, ECC, and CRM systems when required.
- Interfaces with business analysts to develop and support reporting tools.
- Maintains professional contact with the business users, IT team, and contractors to implement business processes.
- Recommends ways to better use system functionality.
- Prepares comprehensive and effective technical documentation including specifications, test conditions, test pans, and test data.
- Provides technical support to users on matters related to the BW/BOBJ reporting tools.
- Provides support to end users
- Provides on-call support and resolves production issues, all scheduled batch cycle runs, and any other support
- Assists in defining technical requirements for on-going systems maintenance and future functionality.
- Evaluates new releases and the impact and benefit of implementing new releases.

REQUIREMENTS:

- The qualified applicant will possess a 4 year degree in Computer Science or related field and have a good understanding of SAP modules especially SAP BW, SAP BOBJ, ECC, CRM, and any integrated modules associated with SAP Software.
- In addition the candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of hands on experience with SAP BW applications and at least 2 years experience with ABAP.
- Preference will be given to candidates with three or more SAP BW project implementations.
- Must have hands on experience writing bexqueries and ETL

The work environment will be cubicles and the dress code is business casual.
