Junior Risk Manager

I am currently recruiting a Junior Risk Manager for a High-Frequency Proprietary Trading firm located in New York City. This is an amazing opportunity to work in a fast pace environment along side some of the most skilled risk and trading professional in the industry. This individual will work closely with the Chief Risk Officer, back-office and Front-Office teams. You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on real-time market risk analyses, ensure accuracy of risk management tools and analytics along with being a key contributor in developing new risk controls systems to ensure the highest performance for state of the art trading systems. This individual will have the Bachelors Degree with 3 years experience in risk or trading within an HFT shop, bank or hedge fund. A broad knowledge of equities, FX and options are preferred. Quantitative programming skills in Excel, VBA, SQL, Python and database systems are highly desirable. Strong communication, analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills are a must.
