PROJECT MANAGER - CONSTRUCTION - RELOCATION - CHANGE - PRINCE 2 - MS PROJECT - BUDGETING - STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

My leading Digital Media and Broadcast Client is currently seeking an excellent Construction Project to plan an Office Move, consolidating and relocating from two existing offices into one new building. The successful candidate will be an experienced Project Manager, who possesses experience in Relocation, Construction and Change; the ideal candidate will be Prince 2 Qualified although this is not a requirement.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Establish the success criteria and benefits realisation responsibilities with all relevant stakeholders and ensure Steering Group focus on the delivery of outcomes and benefits
- Establish the governance, including structure, approach and assurance
- Ensure relevant specialisms (benefits, change, design SMEs etc) are engaged at the appropriate time and provide leadership (often indirect) to these key groups
- Lead financial approvals and adherence to corporate policies
- Create and own the project plan (in consultation with, and through facilitation of, cross functional teams of senior managers)
- Identify dependencies, milestones and interrelationships and proactively develop, maintain and monitor all aspects of the design and delivery to maintain alignment and manage trade-offs
- Establish strategies and plans which enable the change at a pace and sequence suitable to the programme and the business
- Ensure a holistic implementation approach that seeks to embed lasting change (new capabilities, suitable skills) rather than focus solely on the delivery of a solution

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Substantial experience and demonstrated expertise of project and programme management
- Good understanding of, and approach to, benefits delivery - from strategy to realisation
- Able to use 'best practice' in all aspects of project and programme management, with a focus on practical results rather than process
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management at Senior Executive level
- Experience of overseeing and monitoring large scale projects against time and performance indicators (preferably within a broadcast or property/facilities management environment)
- Sound financial knowledge including cost versus benefit analysis and forecasting, and the ability to see the wider implications of project financial variance
