My client in the banking sector is currently looking for 8 junior portfolio reconciliation analysts to join their team in Brussels.
REQUIREMENT FOR A BANKING CUSTOMER: Junior Portfolio Reconciliation Analysts
CONTEXT:
The reconciliation Team compares the transaction records with its counterparties. Reconciliations are done on a pro-active basis. The team interacts closely with Traders, Marketers, Legal, Credit and Operations. The collateralised portfolios consist of practically all products traded within the client, including OTC Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives, Swaps, FX, Credit Derivatives, FRA's, CAPs, Swaps and Exotics.
DURATION:
START DATE: 3 PERSONS TO START ASAP
5 PERSONS TO START 26/08/2013
DURATION: 31/12/2013 + POSSIBLE EXTENSIONS
FULL-TIME (WITHOUT ANY HOLIDAYS) TILL AT LEAST 30/09/2013
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
- Internal Set-Up and understanding counterparty's process.
- Maintenance of 98% Matching Ratio
- Portfolio Valuation Analysis.
- Trade Population Analysis.
- Break management.
- Escalation
- Autonomy, commitment and perseverance
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment
- Flexible, accurate & control minded.
- Communication skills to resolve reconciliation issues with various parties (Middle Office, marketeers, traders, credit and legal,...)
- Risk awareness
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience gained in Collateral Management or middle or Back Office should be a plus but it is not mandatory
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:
Preferable:
- General product knowledge on derivative products.
- Problem Solving: work experience gained in a role requiring significant problem solving skills.
