Junior Operations Analyst, OTC Derivatives

For one of our clients in the banking sector in Zurich, we are currently searching for a Junior Operations Analyst that will join their OTC Derivatives area on a 1-year contract basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- You will work as an Operations Analyst in a fast-changing international environment
- Work closely with the trading desks, support teams and other related stakeholders
- You will be responsible for the daily reconciliations of transactions, settlements of various products, esp. OTC derivatives; investigations of breaks
- Detect sources of errors and make suggestions for process improvements

IDEAL PROFILE:

- University Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field of study
- Some experience in the topics of Operations/Settlements/Reconciliations (ideally 2-3 years); or alternatively strong academic knowledge of those
- Knowledge of the main banking products (FX, OTC Derivatives, equities, etc.)
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Good communication skills
- Fluent English
