Junior Operations Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Allegis Global Solutions are the onsite recruitment partner at RBS and manage all contract and temporary opportunities for RBS M&IB (Markets and International Banking).

We have an outstanding contract opportunity for a Junior Operations Analyst in Newcastle-under-Lyme to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of a Junior Operations Analyst, you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors.

The role is in the customer facing area of Treasury Operations, liaising with both internal and external clients, via telephone and email.

ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS:

You will be responsible for maintaining current and accurate static data for all clients, contact names, telephone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses. You will ensure that the trade confirmations are sent via the correct confirmation medium, contacting counterparties to confirm trade economics if no legal confirmation has been received. Checking and matching incoming legal confirmations from brokers against RBS bookings. Investigating queries received via email and telephone. Investigating alleged trades and more.

COMPETENCIES:

You will have excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in customer service/customer facing role is required (ideally in financial services sector). Graduate degree would be an advantage.
