Junior Linux & Devops System Engineer (Contract)

For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated junior professional to take up the following challenge:

JUNIOR LINUX & DEVOPS SYSTEM ENGINEER (CONTRACT) - 5546

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Deliver and maintain environment for development and integration
- Reinstall Servers, align configurations
- Application support
- Transform the infrastructure (development and integration environments) to an agile IT model: regain control, automation, compliance etc
- Capacity management plan

REQUIREMENTS

- 3 to 5 years professional experience (Engineering/Administrator)
- Very good REDHAT Linux, VMWARE Virtualization and MIDDLEWARE (WebLogic, tomcat and/or Apache) experience
- Skilled in at least one language such as Shell/Powershell, Perl, PYTHON, Ruby or web oriented language
- Good SOLARIS skills
- Good Windows automation, Oracle and TCP/IP knowledge
- Proficient ENGLISH and German or French speaker

CONTRACT DETAILS

- Location Zürich
- Start ASAP
- 6 months contract + extension
- CHF 650 to 750 per day all incl.
