Junior JAVA SME (1425)

For our client in Zurich, we are looking for a

JUNIOR JAVA SME (1425)

for a long term project.

The project is in the banking environment and your responsibilities will be as follows:

Act as Java, Scala and architecture SME
 Full range of development activities, from working closely with the business to define requirements and solution, close contact with the offshore scrum team for development phases managed with Jira, hand on coding where required, solution QA and release support.
 Longer term help with architectural decisions and strategy; ensuring this is implemented where possible.

This is the skill set the ideal candidate will bring:

Technology critical: Java, MQ, SQL, Linux.
 Technology desirable: Oracle, WebSphere.
 Agile/Scrum process, Jira, Git.
 Experience of reference data management applications, large data volumes, data design, user interaction, data/business rules.
 Experience of data hub/integration applications (bespoke or COTS) - messaging, file transfer, ETL, data quality, reconciliation.
 Good specification skills in the Agile manner using Jira (brief, clear, etc)
 Strong English, and German or RUSSIAN WOULD BE USEFUL
