Junior Java Portal Developer

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Java Portal Developer for our clients based in Brussels for a one year + contract

The person will carry out the following tasks:

- maintenance and evolution of the CUA/CHMI/PORTAL and B2B applications and test frameworks
- design/code reviews
- software development activities for the Portal, B2B and CUA
- bug fixing activities
- participate to the analysis/design of the changes
- prototyping

The person selected will mainly develop services and frameworks for the CFMU CUA, NOP Portal and B2B. He/she will also probably be called to participate to its further evolution. Development is here intended not only as pure software implementation but it includes activities such as production of technical notes, implementation of unit tests, and refactoring.

Tasks:

- Design, development and maintenance of the CHMI and Portal applications.
- On-call support for about 3-4 weeks a year during the applications migration.
- Development and maintenance of unit tests.
- Prototyping of new architecture or features.

Requirements

Must have's:

- Experience in Object Oriented Analysis, design and programming
- Extensive Java knowledge
- Experience in Application Server BEA Weblogic or similar
- Experience with open source tools based on Java, Web 2.0 technologies and IDE like Eclipse
- Experience in the mission critical application development.
- Experience in unit testing
- Experience with GWT/Sencha,
- Experience in GIT, Graddle

- Kibana

End date: first contract until the end of the year, with yearly extensions
